Where to ski

The popular Bachledka, Strachan and Strednica ski resorts are around 8 minutes by car from the house. You can also leave your car behind: a free ski bus stops just 200 metres away and connects all three resorts during the winter season. With the shared Tatry Super Ski pass, you can enjoy different slopes without buying a separate ticket at each resort.
For skiing even closer to home, walk to the smaller lift in Monkova dolina.
Fancy trying some new slopes during your winter holiday? Poland is close to Ždiar, with popular ski areas at Jurgów Ski, Białka Tatrzańska and Bukowina Tatrzańska. Explore both sides of the Tatras and try somewhere new each day.

Cross-country skiing around wintery Ždiar
There are several groomed cross-country ski trails in and around Ždiar. Snow-covered meadows lie right beside the house, with peaceful surroundings and views of the Belianske Tatras.
